Melanie Lynskey is a mystery to me. Never seen her before. But she has done a nice job of decorating herself in a very pretty black strapless dress and some very nice platform sandal high heels. I'm not certain that she couldn't have picked a nicer shoe to go with her dress but the high heels are reasonable looking and given that they are strappy probably give her more confidence to walk in. A pump might have looked nicer and more elegant though.

High Heels of the Day
Not sure about the design of these Christian Louboutin grey suede platform booties. On the one hand they are suede with a gorgeous towering stiletto. Then again I'm not a huge fan of ankle booties. And I can't say I like laces on a high heel shoe. I'm torn but in the end feel like they would be a very nice addition to anyones shoe collection.
